How to Order

Orders can be placed either from our website or in-store.

Website

Choose your product and select your material finish.

Add to cart and proceed to check out for payment. (Please note that pricing excludes delivery. We are only able to quote you on delivery once your order has been confirmed. You can then either consider our delivery quote or arrange your own transport from our factory in Cape Town)

Once payment has been made you will receive a notification of confirmation of your order.

A salesperson will then contact you in 1-2 business days after to confirm your order and to assist you and to update you on the progress of your order.

In – Store

Come visit us at a showroom to choose your product and to select your material finishes.

We will then generate a quote for your consideration in-store or via email. You can then either pay in-store or make an eft payment at your convenience. Once we receive proof of payment your order is confirmed.

Your 6-week lead time will then start and we will contact you closer to the completion date to arrange a suitable delivery time.

Lead Times

Stock is very limited and all orders are manufactured to your material selection.

Our standard lead time is 6 weeks, which excludes public holidays and delivery time.

In busier seasons the lead time could be extended to 8 weeks. In these cases, we will notify you in advance. We will keep you updated on the progress of your order and notify you closer to the completion.

Delivery

Prices do not include delivery. The delivery charge will depend on the size of your order and the destination. Alternatively, you can arrange your own transport to collect from our factory in Cape Town.

  All our deliveries are outsourced to independent courier companies which we have strong and long-term relations with. Ensuring a smooth delivery is always challenging as we deal with the human factor and considering that accidents do happen. Please therefore take note of the following

 

· A delivery means receiving goods onto the client’s property and not the area where the goods are to be positioned unless alternative arrangements have been made with the salesperson.

 

· In this case it is the client’s responsibility to ensure adequate access to where furniture needs to be delivered. The area needs to be free and clear of any obstructions. Any damage caused due to any obstruction, narrow passages, stairways, overhead obstacles will not be liable for a claim and at the client’s risk and cost. At any stage it is up the courier/delivery company discretion to decline a clients request if they feel it is unsafe to do so or if they are spending too much time on site. In such a case the furniture will be placed anywhere where it is suited to do so.

 

· Please check and inspect your purchase/ furniture to ensure that it is correct and not damaged. Please note any damages or discrepancies on the delivery note when signing for acceptance. Failure to do so in particular to transport damage will forfeit any claim as damaged could be caused after delivery.

 

· In the case of any damages or incorrect items please notify the salesperson immediately via email or phone call so they can deal with it swiftly.

Guarantee/Warrantee

· All our products carry a 3-year workmanship and material guarantee providing the care and maintenance has been adhered to. Please see care and maintenance guide.

· Please report any defects or concerns during this period by email or phone call to

· Please allow 2-3 business working days for a resolution after reporting a claim.

· All claims are at BLOC Outdoors discretion whether a product is repairable or if it needs to be replaced.

· In the case of a claim, it is the client’s responsibility and cost to get the defected product delivered to our factory and back to their property.

· Lead times will apply for repairs or replacements

· BLOC Outdoor will not be held liable for any compensation claim due to the loss, damage or inconvenience that might incur due to product failure.

Return Policy

· Due to all orders being made to order to your specification and selection of material we cannot accept any return unless if it is a fault of ours.

· All products should be inspected on delivery and if there are any issues it should be reported immediately to the relevant salesperson. Any claims reported after delivery such as damages and defects become difficult to deal with once in use.

· Examples of a fault of ours could be

o Receiving incorrect product or material finish according to invoice.

o Receiving damaged/broken or defected furniture.

· In this case the client can request a refund or wait for a replacement. We understand that this is not an acceptable situation but unfortunately these things happen out of our control. We will however prioritise these situations and fast track the replacement product in a shorter lead time at our cost.

· Any other defects or issues while the product is in use will fall under our guarantee/warrantee terms and conditions.
